The Berlin, MD municipal water tank, located near the center of town, serves as an intersecting station, measured from the top of the tank:
DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1955 (WFD) THE STATION IS LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF FRANKLIN AND BRYAN AVENUES AT THE NORTHEAST EDGE OF BERLIN. THE TANK IS SUPPORTED BY SIX STEEL LEGS, SILVER IN COLOR, AND ABOUT 150 FEET HIGH. THE POINT OBSERVED WAS THE APEX OF THE TANK.
