Location of carving: Washington St., between road and Catholic Church, Hawk Point
Date carving made: 2006
On a flat section cut in the stump below the carving are a few marks: The date is easy to read.
BUT a huge "M" with what looks like a "J" attached to the left and a stylized mark below the "M".
Not sure if this is the artist signature, or a religious symbol, or maybe even something else.
