It might be a small cemetery but it has a notable grave & memorial. The grave of Sister Elizabeth Kenny who died in 1952 & was known worldwide for her treatment of polio. The other a memorial to Victor Denton who was killed in the Dardanelles on 16 June 1915. His is the first known memorial of the First World War erected in Queensland.

The cemetery is well tended by the local council & would have approx. 500 graves.
