"Jeane W. Duncan, 85, of Hawk Point, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014 at the family farm in Hawk Point.
...With such a big heart and wanting to see her hometown grow, she saw the need for a civic center. In 2009 she purchased the previous Kemper-Marsh-Millard Funeral Home Building and donated it to the City of Hawk Point to serve as the Hawk Point Civic Center and Food Pantry." ~ The Lincoln County Journal

Hawk Point Hawks [local 4-H club] meets on the second Wednesday of every month at the Hawk Point Community Building.

"The City of Hawk Point is a Fourth Class city located in the western part of Lincoln County which is the fastest growing county in the state of Missouri. The City of Hawk Point sits at the crossroads of Highway 47 connecting us to the west of Troy and to the north of Warrenton. As of the 2010 census the city had a population of 669 people. Hawk Point has an Elementary School in town with 129 students in grades K - 5th. They have recently added updates of a new gymnasium and library.

"The Board of Aldermen meet on the 1st Monday of the Month at 6:00PM at the new "Hawk Point Civic Center", formally the old Kemper-Marsh Funeral Home. The public is welcome to attend. If you have business that needs to be brought before the Board, you can request to be placed on the agenda by contacting the City Clerk at least 2 business days before the meeting." ~ City of Hawk Point
