Painting "Gewächshaus" of Friedel Deventer on a urban power station in order of the local power supplier "Städtische Werke AG". Painted in 2007.

The painting shows birds like tucans and parrots and tropical plants through painted window frames as like if you look in the inside of a greenhouse.

In the german tapestry museum in Kassel are some same looking tapestries which are maybe the inspiration of this picture.

Three sides of the station are painted with this natural artwork.

Friedel Deventer (born 1947) is a German painter and founder of the Deventer Art Academy in Kassel. He created more than 120 large-scale murals all over Germany, with more than 50 of them in Kassel.
