For the safety and security of the students, the administration of the Woodland Hills High School granted permission for this Waymark with the following stipulations:
1. This Waymark may be visited only during weekends.
2. Waymark visitors must not enter the school building.
3. The facility does not offer tours or public viewing. Please do not seek permission to tour the observatory.
4. Visitors must not interfere with any school activities.
How many high schools have a domed observatory? Woodland Hills High School has one. The observatory dome is located on the roof of the school building. The dome is easily observed from the coordinates listed above. The observatory dome houses a 10 inch refractor telescope which is used by students in astronomy class.
