RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1984 8.2 KM (5.1 MI) NE FROM FRANKLIN. 8.2 KM (5.1 MI) NORTHEAST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 31 FROM THE POST OFFICE IN FRANKLIN, 7.92 METERS (26.0 FT) NORTHWEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 9.14 METERS (30.0 FT) NORTHEAST OF "HOODS RETREAT" HISTORICAL SIGN, 0.85 METERS (2.8 FT) SOUTHWEST OF TELEPHONE POLE NUMBER 582, AND 1.06 METERS (3.5 FT SOUTHEAST OF A FENCE.) IT IS IN NORTHWEST INTERSECTION OF FRANKLIN ROAD AND WILLOWICK DRIVE.
