The local firefighters union and the City of St. John have erected a firefighter memorial containing the names of 10 men who answered their last alarm while on duty. It is located in King's Park St. John, New Brunswick.

A three-tiered 15' high stone block base is topped with the city fire alarm bell from 1872 and a granite plaque which contains the laser etched image of the great fire that ravaged St. John in 1877 honors the ten fallen firefighters from the St. John Fire Department.
