Kostel sv. Prokopa v Letovicích byl postaven v letech 1370–1380 v gotickém slohu. Z mesta k nemu vede krytá chodba – „fortna“, která byla v roce 1920 opravena. Puvodne byl kostel 34 metru dlouhý a 12 metru široký, ale v prubehu staletí doznal mnoha zmen. Napríklad roku 1716 nechal Jirí Slepcanský-Pohronec provést prestavbu kostelu kvuli jeho velmi špatnému stavu. Roku 1847 byla ke kostelu pristavena postranní vež, jenž nahradila malou vežicku pred hlavním vchodem. Soucástí kostela je gotická kaple Panny Marie s puvodní gotickou klenbou z roku 1380, jenž má svuj samostatný vchod. Podle ústní tradice byl kostel vypálen v tricetileté válce Švédy. Dukazem by mela být delová koule nacházející se ve stene kostela (upravená do podoby obliceje). Ke kostelu patrí také fara ze 14. století.

Vnitrní zarízení i výzdoba kostela je prevážne barokní. Jsou zde však také barevná mozaiková okna od malíre Karla Svolinského, krížová cesta od pana Vanka z Brna, kropenka z roku 1642 a 7 oltáru – nejzajímavejší je z historického hlediska oltár sv. Jana Nepomuckého, o nemž je zmínka již v roce 1658. Dále kamenná sedilia (pevné sedadlo u oltáre), obrazy a sochy. V roce 1932 vymaloval vnitrek kostela Jan Danek obrazy všech ceských svetcu. Kostelní varhany byly roku 1858 opraveny, natreny a pozlaceny. V chrámové krypte se nacházejí náhrobky pánu z Hardeka, z Lomnice, z Vojenic a vladyku z okolí.

Church of st. Prokop Letovice was built between 1370-1380 in Gothic style. From the city it covered passageway leads - "Gate", which was repaired in 1920. The church was originally 34 meters long and 12 meters wide, but over the centuries has undergone many changes. For example, in 1716 George had Slepcanský-Pohronec perform a transformation of the church because of its very poor condition. 1847 was added to the church tower side, which replaced the small tower in front of the main entrance. Part of the church is Gothic chapel of Our Lady of the original Gothic vault from 1380, which has its own separate entrance. According to oral tradition, the church was burnt down by the Swedes in the Thirty Years War. Proof should cannonball located in the wall of the church (adapted into a face). The church is also the rectory of the 14th century.

Interior furnishings and decoration of the church is mostly Baroque. But there are also colorful stained glass windows by the artist Charles Svolinský, Calvary Mr. Vanek of Brno basin from 1642 and 7 altars - it is interesting from a historical perspective the altar of St. John of Nepomuk, about which is mentioned already in 1658. Furthermore sedilia stone (fixed seat at the altar), paintings and sculptures. In 1932 he painted the interior of the church Jan Danek paintings of Czech saints. The church organ was repaired in 1858, painted and gilded. In the crypt of the church are tombstones of the Lords of Hardeka of Lomnice, from Vojenice and the Lords of the area.
