After photographing a church opposite I wandered over & spoke to an owner of a motorhome. Travellers in motorhomes & those towing caravans are able to stop here for two nights. You can connect your vehicle to a rain water tank which was most welcome. The park has toilets & shady trees. It is next to a children's playground & tennis court.
Cumborah is a small village surrounded by scrub & close to the opal mining fields of The Grawin, Glengarry & the Sheepyards. It is connected to Lightning Ridge, the nearest large centre, by a sealed road.
The road leading to the park is unsealed & would be impassable in wet weather.
