The Seminar buildings were constructed in 1941 as three distinct buildings separated by courtyards, at a cost of $80,000. The Cora Carter Seminar building housed the office of college president Ludd M. Spivey.
The Seminar buildings were re-configured in the 1960s and now house college business offices.
