Timeline of Earth History
Before about 4.6 billion years ago the Earth was created. Taking this enormous amount of time on the track of the path from here to the Museum in order, so one centimeter of this path corresponds to a period of 1.5 million years, a million years of geological history are therefore only 6.7 millimeters on the path! Crucial changes on earth are marked on the flagstone path. Humans do not appear until about 2 million years ago. This represents the top 1.5 cm on the stone pillar in front of the Museum!
