Uxbridge Commons is right in the heart of the town, surrounded by the library, 2 churches and dates at least to 1898.

The Commons contains various mounuments to veterans who served in WWI, Korea, Vietnam, Civil War and one monument convering Afganistan, Iraq and other skimishes. Interesting there is not a memorial to WWII.

This community was one place of the earliest beginnings of the American Industrial Revolution. The town was named after the Earl of Uxbridge, in Uxbridge, England.
