This memorial is located in the park in front of the Forest County Courthouse in Tionesta, PA. It is dedicated to Lieutenant John Range (1746-1826) who fought in the revolutionary war and was granted the lands on which Tionesta was founded for his service.

The memorial was erected by the Tidioute Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution on June 1925.
