Crops include apples, apricots, artichokes, asparagus, beans, beets, cauliflower, corn, dates, almonds, pistachios, walnuts, some growers farm flowers, grains, rice, table grapes and wine grapes, and raisins, hops (beer), sunflowers, canola, kiwi, citrus: oranges, lemons, grapefruit, berries, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, watermelon & a wide variety of other melons, multi varieties of lettuce, tomatoes, chard, spinach, squash, peaches, pears, nectarines, tangerines, . . .
6,000 growers produce 90 percent of the World's almond crop.
Most of it is from the central valley, but salad and citrus from the Imperial Valley also.
