This NGS benchmark is located between Pine Ridge Rd and Sprague River Rd in Chiloquin, OR.

I recovered this U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey and State Survey station from 1934 in good condition. This station is monumented on top of a square concrete monument, flush with the surface of the ground. There is a green metal witness post to aid in recovery. This station is also listed on a topography map as 'BM 4221'. The NGS datasheet info is adequate for station recovery (I've edited changes in red). My more accurate coordinates should place you close to this station.

THIS MARK IS ABOUT 0.45 MILE NORTHEAST ALONG THE ROAD TO SPRAGUE RIVER FROM THE RAILROAD STATION AT CHILOQUIN, KLAMATH COUNTY, 400 FEET NORTH OF JUNCTION WITH PINE RIDGE ROAD, IN ACUTE ANGLE BETWEEN TWO ROADWAYS, ABOUT 59.0 FEET EAST OF THE PINE RIDGE ROAD, 71.0 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE SPRAGUE RIVER ROAD, ABOUT MIDWAY IN ELEVATION BETWEEN TWO ROADWAYS, LEVEL WITH GROUND, 2.0 FEET6 INCHES NORTH OF A WHITEMETAL REFERENCE POST.
