The foundation stone of the red faced brick and tiled gable roofed Boyanup Methodist Church was laid on 10th march 1955, and officially opened on 30th June 1956. In June 1977, the Congregational, Presbyterian and Methodist churches combined Australia wide to become the 'Uniting Church'. Services ceased in 1978 , the old church is now home to an antiques/bric-a-brac shop
