Hlemýžd zahradní (Helix pomatia) je druh suchozemského plže z celedi hlemýždovití, pri své velikosti 40 – 50 mm je tak nejvetší ulitnatý plž v Cesku. Má žlutohnedou schránku s tmavými pásky. Dožívá se až šesti let, vyskytuje se v krovinách a hájích, ale casto i v zahradách. Zimu preckává v pude. Pohybuje se rychlostí 5 m/h.
