DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1949 AT NASHVILLE. ABOUT 1.35 MILES SOUTHEAST ALONG THE NASHVILLE, CHATTANOOGA AND ST. LOUIS RAILWAY (NOW CSXT) FROM THE UNION STATION, AT THE CROSSING OF CHESNUT STREET, ABOUT 150 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE TRACK, SET VERTICALLY IN THE CURVED BRICK FACE AT THE NORTH CORNER OF THE MAY HOSIERY MILL, AND ABOUT 2 1/2 FEET ABOVE THE SIDE WALK.
