Gandersum liegt an der Ems auf der Höhe des Emssperrwerkes, dort befindet sich auch ein Parkplatz. Die Tafel markiert den Eingang zum Naturschutzgebiet und zeigt die wichtigsten Zug- und Standvögel. Entlang der Deiche sind Rad- und Spazierwege, von denen aus man sehr gut Vögel beobachten kann.
Gandersum is located at the river Ems. This info board marks the entrance into the protective area and shows important migratory birds. Marked hiking and biking trails along the dykes allow bird watching. Parking nearby at the visitor center for the Ems barrier.
