The campus of St. Gregory's University is a beautiful area, with its landmark structure, Benedictine Hall, constructed in 1913 when this campus was established.
To the east of this building, along a pathway leading to other campus buildings is a kidney-shaped concrete pond with a three-tiered concrete fountain on which stands a small angel. The fountain was not operational as we visited in the Winter, but is in use when temperatures permit.
The fountain is called Angel Fountain. It was presented in May 1966 by the St. Gregory's First Associated Women Students organization, and the Dean of Women. It was later remodeled by the Student Body of 1988-89. There are two benches nearby. This is a lovely location, and must be serene and beautiful in the summer months.
