This small museum shows how Frank Phillips, a former barber, decided to get into oil drilling, and ended up an oil tycoon. But it isn't just about the founder. The history shows all aspects of the founding and growth of the company. For example, one of the items is the decision to get into service stations, and how the Phillips 66 subsidiary got its name. And there is a lot more.
The entire museum is on two floors of a small building. Everything can be seen to some extent in less than an hour. If you are the type who likes to read all of the signs and markers, you might take 2 to 3 hours at the most.
