The public library of Weil am Rheim is located in the former Roman Catholic church St. Peter und Paul near the railway station.
The library has about 52,000 media (books, journals, movies, CDs, DVDs, games ...) on an area of over 1000 square meters; since 1998 it is also an "Artothek", i.e. you can lend pieces of art, like paintings and sculptures, it was the first library in the region to offer this service.
The building is a church that was built in 1928 and was converted to a library in 1994. I have no information about the former location of the library.
