Enos Seeley was born in 1731 in Elizabethport, Union Co. or Newark, Essex Co., New Jersey. During the Revolutionary war he served as both a lieutenant colonel and then as a colonel. Commanded a battalion in the New Jersey militia.He died June 29, 1801 in Bridgeton, Cumberland Co., New Jersey.
