The Black Goose sculpture is the interpretation of the historic Black Goose created by Jack Van Rottselaar and was dedicated as a mascot for Wallaceburg, Ontario in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent on July 17th, 2004 in the bicentennial year of the Baldoon Settlement.
Wings striving for a greater height
A resilient presence capable of change,
