The memorial consists of a white stone monument with the sculpture of an eagle with its wings spread on top. On the front is a plaque with the following inscription:
SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF THESE BOYS
OF MILLVILLE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
AND IN HONOR OF THOSE WHO SERVED
FOR THE CAUSE OF
LIBERTY, JUSTICE, AND PEACE
IN THE
WORLD WAR 1917-1919
