This bench is dedicated to Teixeira de Pascoaes, a famous Portuguese poet. It is placed in front of the Torre de Belém (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) so you can sit and admire it.
The bench is made of stone and it reads:
"Ó mar, à luz do luar!
