Stunning Bull Staircase, connecting Castle' IIIrd Courtyard with "Na Valech / At the Ramparts" Garden, was built by Castle architect Jože Plecnik (from Slovenia) in 1929-1931. Design of the staircase is influenced by ancient Minoan architecture/art and its name is derived from bronze bulls holding the roof of the northern staircase entrance.
