Diese Markierung am Boden des Südwest-Tores zur Festung weist auf den 50. Breitengrad hin, der hier durch Rüsselsheim geht. Tatsächlich verläuft dieser jedoch ca. 130 Meter weiter nördlich, an der Nordseite der Festung Rüsselsheim.

This marking on the bottom of the south-west gate to the fortress indicates the 50th parallel, which passes here through Rüsselsheim. Actually, however, it runs about 130 meters to the north, on the northern side of the fortress Rüsselsheim.
