Veterans Memorial Park - Lake Shasta, CA - Non-Specific Veteran Memorials on Waymarking.com

Located in a medium between Shasta Dam Rd is a veterans memorial park comprised of a tall, metal obelisk fountain which is surrounded by painted concrete pillars that have metal plaques on top containing the names of local servicemen and women who served their country in all branches of service. No wars are mentioned anywhere in this memorial. There is a sponsorship plaque monumented on a boulder that lists those local businesses and individuals who contributed towards this memorial park. There are also about 30 brick pavers of veterans' names that line the outside sidewalk leading to a memorial garden that was dedicated to the citizens of Shasta Lake in 2007.
