Caribbean Handcraft is a souvenir shop located on Kaya Kakina 8 in Jan Thiel, just a few minutes drive from Willemstad, the island's capital. The souvenir shop boasts to have a "million dollar view", and with very good reason: one gets the opportunity to see an 180 degree view of the glitsy Spanish Water area,
* The luxurious "Jan Sofat" residential region itself
* the Curacao Yacht Club
* Tafelberg ("Table Mountain")
* The inlet leading into the Caribbean Sea
* Caracas Bay
* An upper-class residential region, known as Jan Thiel (where the shop is located).
Entrance into the souvenir shop is obviously free, and one is welcome to walk straight though the shop to its terrace in the back... but once there, the casual tourist might be tempted to pick up something on its way out. :)
