County of silo: Shelby County
Location of silo: MO 15, E. of Salt River Bridge, about 3 miles N. of Shelbina

I was told by locals, in both Shelbina and Shelbyville, that a ferry was once here (see small stone wall on far bank} and the farmers moved grain to this silo and stored it until transportation could move it to Shelbina to the railroad for shipment.
