Nádraží Veleslavín station with its centre approximately under "Evropská Street" is located in the space between a current Czech Railway’s track and the eastern section of "K Cervenému Vrchu Street". The station is designed as a three-span structure mined shallow under the surface, with an intermediate platform 19m under the surface. The track centre distance is 15 m. The western end of the platform adjoins the cut-and-cover structure housing three escalators and a lift to an underground concourse. The locations of the station, concourse and individual exits are designed with the aim of allowing direct links to a temporary bus terminal, tram stops on Evropská Street and, at the same time, responding in advance to the anticipated modernisation of the Czech Railways’ track including a station on the high-speed rail line.
Nádraží Veleslavín je, spolecne se stanicemi Borislavka, Petriny a Nemocnice Motol, jedna ze ctyr stanic úseku V.A pražského metra. Pocátkem brezna 2015 byla uvedena do overovacího provozu. Slavnostní otevrení probehlo 6. dubna 2015.
Stanice se nachází v prostoru mezi stávající tratí SŽDC obvod žst. Veleslavín a východní cástí ulice K Cervenému vrchu, se stredem približne pod ulicí Evropskou. Je melce ražená, asi 20.5 m pod zemí, s jedním podpovrchovým vestibulem situovaným mezi železnicní trat a križovatku ulic Evropská – Kladenská. Poloha stanice, vestibulu a jednotlivých výstupu jsou takové, aby umožnovaly v etape prímé vazby na docasný autobusový terminál a zároven bez nutnosti prestavby v predstihu reagovaly na predpokládanou modernizaci stávající trate Ceských drah (zastávka v zahloubené poloze). Rovnež budoucí urbanizace prostoru mezi železnicní tratí a Evropskou ulicí je z takto umístené stanice dobre možná. Uvedeným predpokladum odpovídá navržený princip usporádání podchodu a vestibulu ve dvou výškových úrovních. Autobusový terminál má umožnit ukoncení cásti mestských, prímestských a regionálních autobusových linek namísto Dejvické (Vítezného námestí). [wiki]
