Built ca. 1887, the Winkelmann-Wilder Building was listed as a "Contributing Building" ("CBD #252 / Property #29") in the original Brenham Downtown Historic District NRHP nomination form -- see: Texas Historical Commission's Atlas website).

The building currently houses an eclectic antique/apparel/furniture store, known as the "Antique Gypsy".
