This artistic welcome to Memphis sign is located less than half a mile north of the Tennessee-Mississippi state line at the Memphis city limits on US 51/TN SH3, better known as Elvis Presley Blvd. just a few miles up the road if you look to your left you'll see Graceland the home of the King of Rock and Roll himself.

This welcome sign is in a small unlandscaped and otherwise unremarkable roadside pullout. There is a geocache here.

The "Welcome to Memphis" marker, in the shape of a record, was so unique I had to get my camera and go back to shoot a photo. Must be the original, because the city has put up their own one block further.
