The Cadet Theater was named in honor of the cadet students at Oklahoma Military Academy (now Rogers State University). This was a one-screen theater with 472 seats. It opened approximately 1942 and operated until around 1960, when it was converted to a four-lane bowling alley. It is currently retail space.
The building has a two-story facade, covered with stucco. There are three bays, with the center bay containing two narrow multi-paned windows and two vents. The outer bays each have a round porthole window. The roofline has a stepped parapet, with its coping painted a contrasting color.
The entrance is recessed and currently has display windows with 30 inch walls, and a single aluminum and glass door with large sidelights. Above the entrance is a flat metal canopy.
