The aviary Voliere Zürich is located in a corner of Arboretum between Mythenquai and the lake shore.
The site has many exotic birds, especially parrots, loris, toucans and waterbirds. They are also successful in breeding some rare species.
They are also a veterinary hospital, specialized in domestic wildlife birds. It is Switzerland's best known emergency station for injured and sick birds. The site was founded in 1902 and is funded by private donations.
The halls are open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 16:00. The outdoor part is always accessible without restrictions. There is no entrance fee.
