On the corner of Main Street and Highway 31, this is a pretty good sized church for a tiny town like Ione.

Given that Ione is a pretty small town, this church was likely built on a budget, explaining its concrete block construction. The congregation likely got a lot of church for their money when they built it. Otherwise quite utilitarian in appearance, the church has very nice recessed double oak doors with oak framed side lights at the main entrance.
