The Bennett Spring State Fish Hatchery hatches and grows rainbow trout to catchable size. Most are released in the Bennett Springs branch which flows into the Niangua River. The hatchery releases is nearly 1/2 million fish into this branch each year. Tours are offered from March to October on the first and third Saturdays of the month at 10:00 am.
