Walk through History

Knights Ferry is an old California Gold Rush town. The Knights Ferry Recreational Area is a park maintained by the city of Knights Ferry, with the help of the US Army Corps of Engineers.

The park offers a multitude of activities, from a walk through history to hiking and rafting. It is one of the most popular areas in the county.

Picknick Area Visitors Center

Knights Ferry Covered Bridge is one of the main attractions of the park
Russian Rapids, a popular kayaking place. Stanislaus River, seen from North Loop Trail.
