BM0184 - "D 1030" bench mark disk - Austin County, TX - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

As described by the Coast and Geodetic Survey ("CGS") in 1954:

"5.7 MI NE FROM KENNEY.
0.6 MILE SOUTHEAST ALONG THE GULF, COLORADO AND SANTA FE RAILROAD FROM THE STATION AT KENNEY, THENCE 4.9 MILES NORTHEAST ALONG A GRADED DIRT ROAD, THENCE 0.2 MILE EAST ALONG A GRADED DIRT ROAD, 18 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF A ROAD, 16 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF A PRIVATE DRIVEWAY LEADING NORTH, 2.2 FEET SOUTH OF A FENCE, 2.6 FEET WEST OF A WITNESS POST, SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST WHICH PROJECTS 0.6 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND."

The CGS description and associated reference points (i.e. distances/directions) are still correct and a good reference for locating this station. The two referenced graded dirt roads are [1] "Lynn Rd" (which eventually turns into "Kramer Rd") and [2] "Tottenham Rd".

The most recently posted NGS Data Sheet's coordinates seemed to match perfectly with my own personal observations: it states "N 30 04 01.1 W 096 14 50.9", which was in line with my findings as measured with 10' accuracy and 10+ reading averages: "N 30° 04.018 W 096° 14.848".
