Or at least it would be if it were still a hotel. Though the building still carries the name "National Hotel", it doesn't seem to be operated as a hotel any more. The ground floor is presently occupied by a pizza shop and a Chinese eatery. There are also offices in the building rented to various businesses and agencies. We've not been able to discover in what year the hotel opened, nor for how long it operated as a hotel.

In 1920 the hotel placed this ad on page 40 of a Montana History book entitled
Lincoln County Montana - History, Resources, Industrial Development and Record in The Great War, published in that year. The 55 page booklet offered a fairly complete look at Lincoln County and its cities, towns and villages as they were in 1920.
