Located within Alta Mesa Cemetery is the headstone on the Atkinson family, Addie, J. Hannon and Rena. I was able to locate a death record for Rena and it mentions her being born April 24, 1891 and passing away December 3, 1993. Her mother's maiden name was Baldwin, her father's last name was Vanmarter. She was married to John Atkinson who's name is above her on the headstone. My guess is that Addie was John's older sister. Rena passed away in the community of El Dorado. I could obtain nothing else online regarding Rena. Coincidentally, the headstone she shares with her husband and (most likely) sister-in-law has slowly been covered up by roots from the tree they were buried next to and can be visited under the Omnivorous Trees category.
