Orr Lake and Orr Lake Campground are two quiet little gems located not far from Hwy 97 leading north to Macdoel or south to Weed. This lake contains trout, bass and catfish for the taking. The lake is small but very scenic and has a wonderful view of Mt Shasta to the south. Camping here is free and limited to 14 days. There are a total of four campgrounds here as well as hiking trails around the lake. The boat ramp is small but well maintained.
