Spotted from Old State Highway was our family was leaving the dead community of Bray, a former railroad town, was a lonely chimney to a former home that was nestled by Butte Creek and not far from the highway. Nothing remains of this home but the chimney and a few other rusted metal remnants, including pieces of an old fence line. Butte Creek was flowing nicely through this private property, there were NO TRESPASSING signs by the old entrance to the property from the road so we couldn't inspect this chimney up close.
