Stanford 27 - LS5237 Control Monument - Stanford University - Palo Alto, CA - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I recovered this control monument on the Stanford University campus in good condition. It contains the designation stamping of 'Stanford 27' and 'LS5237' on the disk face. The monument is located about five feet east of a water fountain within Serra Mall Way roundabout. This monument does not exist in the NGS database and I could not locate a local database for this control. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this station.
