Pour la petite histoire, ce cimetière de bateaux est né avec la guerre de 1939 - 1945. Les patrons pêcheurs des thoniers de l'île de Groix, en partant combattre pour libérer la France, n'ont pas voulu les laisser aux allemands. Ils les ont donc cachés au fond de l'embouchure du Blavet. A la fin de la guerre, beaucoup de ces patrons pêcheurs étaient malheureusement morts au combat, les bateaux sont restés là, à finir de mourir tranquillement.
For the history , this ship cemetery is born with the war of 1939 - 1945. The skippers of tuna Island Groix , from fighting to liberate France , did not want to let the Germans. So instead they hidden deep in the mouth of the Blavet. At the end of the war, many of these skippers were unfortunately killed in action, the boats stayed there , to finish to die quietly .
