The Vernon Elks lair is on the corner of 32nd Avenue and 30th Street, in the heart of downtown Vernon.

Though the Elks of Canada was founded in 1912, this lodge came along a bit later, in 1920 to be precise. We don't know how long they've been in this building but they have been here long enough to have mounted a nice neon "ELKS" sign beside the side entrance on 30th Street. It was daytime when we visited and the sign was shining brightly.

While cruising down 32nd Avenue, this Elks Lodge becomes easy to find by watching for the large mural of carriages with the large words "Agricultural Implements" across the top. It is one of the 27 large murals in the downtown area.
