The village of Lake Tabourie takes its name from the lagoon formed at the entry of Tabourie Creek into the ocean. It is on the Princes Highway just south of Ulladulla. The marker is on the kerb of Portland Way & about 20 metres away from the lagoon. The locals leave their canoes untethered but under a watchful eye so I waved & said hello.
The Shoalhaven Council has constructed a fishing platform near the canoes. There is a children's playground at the opposite end of the street.
