L'horloge de la Conciergerie est un joyau parisien situé sur l'Île de la Cité, à deux pas de Notre Dame. C'est en 1370 que l'horloge voit le jour sous l'impulsion du Roi Charles V.
L'horloge, faite de dorures, est entourée de deux statues. Celle de gauche représentant la loi, celle de droit la justice. On y trouve également deux plaque ou se trouvent des inscriptions latines :
- Qui dedit ante duas, triplicem dabit ille coronam.
- Machina quae bis sex tam juste dividit boras Justitiam servare monet leges que tueri.
Signifiant :
- Celui qui lui a déjà donné deux couronnes lui en donnera une troisième.
- Cette machine qui fait aux heures douze parts si justes enseigne à protéger la Justice et à défendre les lois.

The Conciergerie clock is a treasure of Paris located on Cité island, not far from Notre Dame. The clock was built in 1370 under king Charles V.
Made of golden leaves, the clock is surrounded by two statues. The one on the left is the Law, the other on the right is the Justice. There is also two plaques with latin script :
- Qui dedit ante duas, triplicem dabit ille coronam.
- Machina quae bis sex tam juste dividit boras Justitiam servare
Which mean :
- The one who gave him two crownw, will giv him a third one.
- This device which made of the hours twelve parts, teach to protect Justice and defend the Law.
